I started this blog to begin talking about personal financial planning. My approach to life and finances is to seek eudaimonia; an Aristotlean term which roughly translates to human flourishing. Be all that you can be for the sake of being it. Are your finances enabling you to be the best version of yourself?
If not, it may be helpful to hire a financial planner to clarify what financial eudaimonia means to you. Below is a brief overview of what a financial planner can do for you. You can find more details on this at Michael Kitces‘ website.
If you are not ready to hire someone, then at the very least take the time to think about what eudaimonia would look like in your finances. Even better, make the time to write it down.
